Lord - Bernegarden's Lord of the Ring at Lanleadane is very proud that he has become a Grandad to 7 lovely babies - 6 girls and 1 boy.  The puppies are proudly owned by our good friends Stevie and Jon Schofield.  Pictures can be seen on their new website:

We had a great visit to Amsterdam and The Winners Show at the end of November.  It was wonderful to meet up with our good friends, Janette & Francois and of course, it was really great to see Drystan again.  He is maturing into a really lovely boy with a beautiful head and great bone.  We were very proud of him and give great credit to Janette & Francois for their rearing of him.  He remembered us and we had loads of cuddles and kisses!! He looked great in the ring and did not put a paw wrong.  He was placed 2nd and graded very promising with a very good critique.  It was lovely to meet Drystan's best friend Kira, who really enjoyed her day.  It was great to meet up with our other Dutch friends, but we were disappointed that our good friend Kristel could not get to the show, as we were looking forward to meeting her and Chase.
Whilst at the show I fell in love with the Barbet - an ancient French gundog breed and could not resist a photograph.

Hetty, Burnswark Daniella at Lanleadane is 12 years old today!  We never thought she would reach this milestone due to her being really poorly earlier in the year with severe pyometra and needed an operation, which neither us nor our vet thought she would come through.  However, Hetty proved us all wrong and got a new lease of life.  Although she is now such a very old lady, she still rules all at Lanleadane and we all love her dearly.  We are so proud that we have 5 generations still alive and count our blessings each day.  Hetty enjoyed a pizza for her birthday tea, as you can see from the pictures.
News of our trip to Amsterdam to follow, but we have been struck down by the dreaded flu since our return!!

We had a very enjoyable day at the Eastern Saint Bernard Club Championship Show yesterday at Peterborough.  Luckily it did not snow, but it was very cold.  We also celebrated Callum gaining his Champion title with some bubbly for everyone!  Callum gained a 3rd place in Open Dog and Evie was VHC in Limit Bitch under Japanese judge Mr Umeo Suto, whose first judging appointment this was in the UK.
It was great to see Lance, Lanleadane Sir Lancelot at Bernmont being shown by his owner Pat Muggleton.

Congratulations to Lord's daughter, Snowdonium Dream Girl, who was 2nd in a very strong Junior Class.

Here are some pictures of Callum and Evie taken outside the ring.
