We enjoyed our day at Crufts and it was great meeting up with our great friends Janette and Francois from The Netherlands and also Connie from The Netherlands.  It was just a shame that June was not well enough to attend.
Thank you to Janette for the great pictures.
We were pleased with our results as the classes were big and we were very happy to get placed in all our classes.  Callum winning 3rd in Open Dog and Evie and Mandy both winning Reserves in their classes.  We were also thrilled for Joanne and Bernie, who won 3rd in Puppy and a special mention to our good friend Stevie for handling the "wild child"!Also Lord's son Woody won VHC in a very strong Post-Graduate Dog Class.

Sorry for lack of updates to website, but we have had a very busy few weeks, as June has been really poorly in hospital with pneumonia.  She is home now, but has to take things very easy for the next few weeks.  She is upset that she will not be going to Crufts this year, especially as our good friends, Janette & Francois are coming over from The Netherlands.  Ian and Karen will be going to Crufts and we look forward to meeting up with all our friends.

We had The English Saint Bernard Club Championship Show on Sunday and took Logan to his very first show.  We were thrilled when he won Minor Puppy Dog and then Best Minor Puppy in Show.  His brother, Louis was 3rd in Minor Puppy Dog, so many congratulations to their breeder, John Madine on them both qualifying for Crufts at their first show!

We are pleased to see that Ke-ra and Molly are both doing well and are now aged 9 months.  Ke-ra was a naughty girl at Christmas and ate a Christmas stocking and ended up having major surgery, but is now recovering well.  Molly can be seen enjoying the snow today.

We are so sad that we had to send our much loved Hamish, Lanleadane Eyes on the Prize JW ShCM to the Rainbow Bridge on Thursday to prevent further suffering.  He had been poorly for 2 weeks with a large tumour in the abdomen and went downhill very quickly.  We have lots of special memories of Hamish and are so proud of his achievements in the show ring and the lovely offspring he has produced.

Dear Mum

When Jesus sent me down to earth
To show the folks just what I'm worth
He said go and find a Mum and Dad
Give them the best love they've ever had
Do everything that you can do
To make them very proud of you
But when I call you back to me
You must come back immediately

Well then he called to soon I Know
But I knew I had to go
He needed special help you see
He knew he could depend on me

My Job is to wait at heavens gate
And welcome folk inside
One day I know I'll see you there
With both arms open wide
I'll run so fast to get to you
we'll cuddle and kiss as we used to do

Be patient Mum and don't you sigh
It makes me sad to see you cry
I'm so sorry that I had to go
remember though I love you so
Time stands still in Heaven
So when you knock upon the door
I'll be just how you remember me
A beautiful dog aged five.

Glenys Fryer   (for Buster)
